3M Scotch-Weld Low Odour Acrylic Adhesive DP8710NS is a black, non-flowing, viscoplastic, 2-part, acrylic-based construction adhesive that is low odour and non-flammable. This construction adhesive stands out in the 3M product family of highly versatile low odour acrylic adhesives with improved performance. It offers the usual easy handling of acrylic adhesives that cure quickly and require minimal surface preparation. At the same time, it is characterised by improved impact strength, resistance to cold temperatures, flexibility and a better toxicological profile. It is corrosion resistant on steel and other active metallic materials.

It is an acrylic adhesive that offers high flexibility and elongation comparable to urethanes or sealants. This black, non-flowing and low-odour 2-component acrylic adhesive enables the use of thin panels as it provides a virtually invisible bond line and shrinks only slightly during curing. It is characterised by a 400 % higher elongation capacity and is resistant to stresses that occur with materials with different thermal expansion coefficients. This adhesive requires minimal surface preparation and is not classified as a health hazard under GHS08. It contains 250 µm glass beads for adjusting the bond line thickness. This adhesive has a working time of 23 minutes and reaches handling strength after 28 minutes. It ensures bonding with minimal surface preparation, even on slightly oily surfaces.
