The 3M Peltor SportTac is an electronic, level-dependent hearing protector that has been specially developed for hunting and shooting sports. The SportTac Hunting has a foldable headband and two pairs of earmuffs in green and orange. The hearing protector has an attenuation value of SNR=26 dB. The 3M Peltor gel sealing rings consist of two foam cushions and two rings filled with silicone gel, which are covered with an extremely thin polyurethane shell and moulded into two beads. Their special design makes them particularly comfortable to wear, as the gel sealing rings adapt to the ear individually. This is a great advantage, especially for spectacle wearers, as the flexible ear pads reduce pressure on the temples. The new accessory is also a comfortable addition for users who are sensitive to heat: the gel sealing rings have a cooling effect.
