Starter set: 1x 3M Scotch-Weld 2-component construction adhesive EPX System DP8010, blue-green, 45 ml 1x S-K-S hand tool for EPX 38 to 50 ml cartridges incl. feed piston 2:1 & 10:1, 3x mixing nozzle
Variants
Scotch-Weld DP8010 is a solvent-free, viscoplastic, two-component structural adhesive based on modified acrylates that cures at room temperature. The product was developed for the structural bonding of low-energy plastics such as PE, PP and TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) without surface pre-treatment such as corona, plasma etc.. Other plastics such as ABS, rigid PVC, PMMA, PS, PC, fibre composites, as well as glass, wood, etc. can also be bonded with good strength. Metals should be primed or painted beforehand. The product is characterised by high strength, short processing time and rapid strength development (inherent strength of the plastics) as well as excellent resistance to water, moisture and media.
