3M Scotch-Weld DP8005 is a viscoplastic 2-component construction adhesive based on acrylate that cures at room temperature. The product is characterised by rapid strength development, high final strength and short processing time, and also impresses with its excellent resistance to water, moisture and media. Scotch-Weld DP 8005 enables the structural bonding of low-energy plastics such as PE, PP and TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) without surface pre-treatment. Plastics such as ABS, rigid PVC, PC, PMMA and fibre composites as well as metals, glass, wood etc. can also be bonded with good strength.
