3M Peltor Optime III earmuffs, Hi-Viz headband, high visibility, SNR = 35 dB, H540AV

With the 3M Peltor H510AK ear muffs for children, you can enjoy concerts, festivals, fireworks, racing events and outdoor activities with your family, safe in the knowledge that your children's hearing is protected. The neon green headset is only available as a headband version and is characterised by its bright colour and high visibility. It offers protection of up to 27 dB and can be used at noise levels of 87 to 98 dB. These products have been specially developed for younger wearers over the age of five. The large, wide pads reduce pressure around the ears, improve comfort and reduce heat build-up. Easily replaceable pads and inserts keep the earmuffs clean and hygienic. This lightweight earmuff has flat ear muffs, a wire-reinforced headband and is reusable.

The 3M Peltor Optime III earmuffs have been specially developed for high noise levels and combine effective protection with maximum wearing comfort. The black earmuffs have an attenuation value of SNR=35dB. The high level of safety of the Optime III is based on the innovative double-shell technology, which minimises resonance inside the capsule and provides maximum attenuation of high frequencies. The advantage: conversations and warning signals are still easy to understand. An acoustic connection between the inside of the capsule and the space between the shells also achieves optimum attenuation of low frequencies. The soft, wide foam sealing rings ensure a perfect fit. The generous space under the capsules minimises heat build-up and perspiration and offers a comfortable fit. The two-point suspension made of stainless steel ensures consistently low contact pressure even when used continuously. The headband is variably adjustable and adapts perfectly to any head shape thanks to its ergonomic shape. The 3M Peltor Optime III can be used at airports, in cement production, in ship engine rooms, in mining and in power stations. Matching hygiene sets ensure hygienic and economical use of the earmuffs.

The 3M particle insert filter 5935 has protection level P3R and offers protection against solid and liquid particles. The filter is intended for use in combination with gas filters. It has been tested and approved in accordance with EN 143:2000.

The 3M gas and combination filter 6095 has protection level A2P3R and offers protection against organic gases and vapours (boiling point above 65°C) and particles. The filter fits onto the 6000, 7000 and 7500 mask series from 3M using a bayonet click connection.

The 3M filter cover is required for combining the 5000 series particle insert filters with the gas & vapour filters.

The cutter knife consists of a metal housing. The knife handle is ergonomically shaped and sits securely in the hand thanks to its non-slip surface.
