The 3M face and hearing protection combination G500 is a flexible and comfortable solution for areas of application where eyes, face and hearing need to be protected but no head protection is required. The G5V5CH51 combination was specially developed for agriculture and forestry and includes the 3M Peltor Optime I earmuffs H510P3E with orange shells, which provide an attenuation value of SNR=26 b(A). The mesh visor 5C made of stainless steel, which is also included, offers effective protection and is very stable. Thanks to its innovative design, the headpiece can be combined with various 3M visors, ear muffs, communication systems and integrated safety spectacles such as the V6 safety spectacles. The headband with its ergonomically shaped neck padding offers maximum comfort even when worn for long periods. The ratchet fastener with easy-grip adjustment knob allows the size of the head section to be adjusted quickly and precisely. Customisation is also possible thanks to the three-way height adjustment. The front panel with ventilation slots ensures optimum ventilation and also has a practical cable holder for attaching communication systems. The areas of application for the 3M G500 combination for agriculture and forestry are in the forestry sector and in garden and landscape maintenance, such as clearing and edge cutting with power tools.

The 3M Peltor safety helmet G3000 with 3M Uvicator Sensor was developed in close cooperation with industry and forestry and fulfils the highest protection requirements. The patented sensor indicates when the helmet has lost its protective effect due to excessive UV radiation and should be replaced. The G30MUO model made of UV-stabilised ABS plastic is orange and equipped with a headband with a ratchet fastening system and a sweat leather. The ratchet fastening system ensures extremely precise and easy adjustment to the wearer's head size. The extra short peak ensures optimum visibility. The interior can also be rotated by 180 degrees so that the helmet can also be worn with the peak on the back of the neck. This and the slim, round shape significantly reduce the risk of getting caught and make working in confined spaces or climbing trees noticeably easier. An optional chin strap, which is available as an accessory and can be attached to the helmet's three-point fastening system, ensures customisation to the shape of the head and a perfect fit. Unlike conventional safety helmets with ventilation, the G3000 has significantly more ventilation slots. This maximum permissible ventilation area on the top of the helmet shell ensures an exceptionally high level of wearer comfort, even during physically strenuous work in warm environments. Thanks to the special profile design, it is also easy to attach earmuffs or visors. The 3M Peltor safety helmet G3000 with 3M Uvicator can be used in forestry, industry and construction. The helmet is suitable for head widths from 53 to 62 centimetres.
